Description

The National Water Policy has been formulated through a participatory process of focus groups and consultations involving a large number of persons from government ministries and agencies, as well as non-government stakeholders.

The policy was developed under the umbrella of the Grenada Water Stakeholder Platform (G-WaSP) through the assistance of the global “International Water Stewardship Programme” (IWASP), financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the British Department for International Development (DFID). IWASP is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

The authors are Everson Peters and Terrence Smith.
